Step wedges for motorhomes, caravans and trailers

What color are the ramp wedges?

The step wedges can withstand a maximum load of 5 tons per axle. Please note that, especially in motorhomes, the axles can quickly become overweight due to the load or the weight of the engine. We recommend a load of 3.5-4.0 tons per axle for the step wedges, as deformation can already be seen with this weight load.

What is the optimal alignment of the step wedges?

You can use the drive-on wedges with e.g. B. Fix a peg in the ground and align your motorhome, caravan or trailer using the three steps. The individual levels are very noticeable.

What are the dimensions of the level-up ramps?

The length is 570mm, the width is 200mm and the maximum height is 130mm. You can also see the dimensions sketched in the detailed images.

Tips and tricks for use:

As soon as the right place for your vehicle, motorhome or caravan has been chosen, it's time to align it. If possible, always try to align one axle, one side of the vehicle or all axles with the ramps. Adjusting only three tires with the ramp wedges is rather difficult and time-consuming. So align the step wedges in front of or behind the tires of your desired axle or side. Please note that when wedging, the strength lies in rest. So go with z. B. put your motorhome onto the wedges very slowly and without accelerating. As a rule, it is sufficient to just "play" with the clutch. The easiest way is to drive right up to the top of the ramps and use the brake or handbrake to slowly roll back to the desired level. If you have twin tires, we recommend using one drive wedge per tire.
