PETRONAS Syntium 7000 Hybrid 0W-20 is based on synthetic technology formulated with CoolTech+™ at the very latest in our fluid technology. Our technology effectively reduces friction between moving parts to reduce heat generation. This offers improved wear protection and optimal engine efficiency over the entire oil change interval, ensuring optimal performance with reduced fuel consumption and emissions.

The constant change between internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric drive places higher demands on the engine of a hybrid vehicle. Constantly stopping and starting the engine increases friction between engine parts, leading to excessive heat generation, which in turn increases fuel consumption and emissions, increases wear and tear, and increases the risk of engine failure. Hybrid vehicles therefore require special lubricants with high anti-wear properties.

PETRONAS Syntium 7000 Hybrid 0W-20 is a special lubricant suitable for hybrid vehicles (petrol/electric). It is formulated to protect against low speed pre-ignition (LSPI) for turbocharged and gasoline direct injection vehicles and conforms to the latest API SP specification.
