Van-Swing, swivel module for panel vans with hinge on the left or right side

A well-known problem with panel vans is the search for a suitable bike rack. The bike racks on the tow ball get in the way when the rear doors need to be opened. Also, bikes are too heavy for rear door bike racks and bikes have to be lifted too high.

The perfect solution for this is the Van-Swing-Swing swivel module. By mounting the simple swivel module on an existing or to be mounted towbar, you can use your own bike carrier. You don't have to remove the bikes and bike rack to open the rear doors. The swivel module allows you to turn the bike carrier with bikes to the side so that both rear doors can be opened at the same time.

The VAN-Swing uses the existing attachment points of your trailer hitch. In some cases the module can be mounted on an existing trailer hitch. If you have any doubts about the suitability of your towbar, please contact your dealer or Memo in advance. If a towbar is not yet available, we can supply it separately if required. The Van Swing Swivel Module is not designed to tow trailer loads.

The load capacity of the Van-Swing is 60 kg. This includes the bikes and the bike rack. This means that if the bike carrier weighs 15 kg, the bikes can still weigh a maximum of 45 kg. Is the combination of bikes and bike rack too heavy? Then we recommend the Van-Star bicycle carrier, the Van-Star can transport 60 kg (electric) bicycles.

Because the module is placed on top of the towbar, the bike rack is at knee height, which is ideal for bikes that don't need to be lifted high. Due to the use of existing attachment points, no changes need to be made to the vehicle itself. The module is suitable for all Ducato models from 2006. On request, you can also purchase the module for the Volkswagen T5 and T6, the Renault Master from 2003 to 2010 and the Ford Transit Custom from 2014. In that case, simply contact us. The VAN swing comes with an integrated 13-pin socket to expand the existing socket. From now on, the Van-Swing can only be ordered in black.
